Shipping policy

 

Most MediGrace services and products do not require shipping. However, if shipping or related services are required, the following shipping policy applies.

Available product lines, shipping rates, and fees may vary depending on the delivery country and address. We offer Expedited Shipping services such as DHL Express, FedEx Express & USPS Priority Express Mail at special discounted shipping rates. The delivery time varies by the Postal Service, the Destination country's Postal Service, and Customs clearance procedures. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery time. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. If you have any questions regarding the shipping charges & customs duties, please feel free to contact us. 

 

Shipping & Handling Time / Estimated Delivery Time

• Our Shipping & Handling Time for most items is 1-3 days. In case we are unable to ship the items within 3 business days, we will notify you of the shipping status immediately. 
• Standard Shipping: 14-21 days (It could take 4-8 weeks if customs clearance and import duty check cause delays)
• Expedited Shipping 10-15 days (It could take 3-4 weeks if customs clearance and import duty check caused delays)
• Express Shipping 5-10 days (It could take 2-3 weeks if customs clearance and import duty check cause delays)

If there is a severe weather condition, the shipping & delivery time could be varied depending on the status of the weather condition.

Refund policy

MediGrace is committed to eliminating cultural and language barriers, providing all services comfortably and conveniently in Korea. Reservations may be subject to change depending on your schedule. MediGrace has established the following refund policy to ensure a safe and transparent refund process.

1. Reservation Changes: Rescheduling your hospital appointment is possible. Please contact MediGrace for a schedule change.

2. No Refunds: No refunds will be issued for no-shows without prior notice or cancellation. Cancellations are also not permitted within three days of your appointment. Therefore, no refunds will be issued. All hospital appointments are carefully planned and prepared for you.

3. Partial Refunds: If you cancel within 10 days of your appointment, you will receive a 50% refund of your payment.

4. Full Refunds: If you cancel at least 10 days prior to your appointment, you will receive a full refund. Please contact MediGrace to request a cancellation for a full refund.

Terms of service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") set forth the legal terms under which our Services are provided to you. These Terms of Service also apply to all interactions or communications between you and us.

Under these Terms, MEDIGRACE is incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Korea and is a foreign patient attraction company officially licensed and authorized by the government. Its location is 107-14, Sangga-dong, 30 Olympic-ro 78-gil, Gangdong-gu, Seoul.

MEDIGRACE communicates with healthcare providers on your behalf to obtain detailed information about medical specialties, contacts healthcare providers on your behalf to provide healthcare services, makes hotel reservations, uses our mobile website, and performs other related information collection and communication activities.


Medical Services refers to the healthcare services provided by the relevant healthcare provider through the MEDIGRACE Services. A healthcare provider is a healthcare provider located in the Republic of Korea who provides healthcare services to you through MEDIGRACE.
A reservation refers to an appointment made between you and a healthcare provider to receive healthcare services from that provider, including hotel reservations, travel reservations, and experience reservations.
You refers to you, the user of the MEDIGRACE service.

 

1. Terms of Use for Medical Service Providers

In addition to these Terms of Use, medical service providers may provide other terms (Terms of Use for Medical Service Providers) (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms of Use for Medical Service Providers"). You acknowledge that MEDIGRACE is not and will not be a party to any contractual relationship that may arise between you and the medical service provider due to your use of the Service.

If you violate the Terms of Use for Medical Service Providers, your appointment may be canceled and you may be denied access to the relevant medical service. You may also lose any payment you made for the appointment.

 

2. Use of the Service

MEDIGRACE Rules

We provide the Service to help you find information about medical services and make appointments for them. MEDIGRACE's Service is not for any other purpose.
You agree to the following:

- You will use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
- You must comply with these Terms of Use and use the Service lawfully.
- All information you provide is true, accurate, and complete. , up-to-date and complete.
- If you have an account with us, you can:
- Protect your account information
- You are fully responsible for any use of your account by you or anyone else.
- If you act on behalf of or make a reservation for someone else, you must obtain their permission before acting on their behalf.
- You must inform the provider of the terms and conditions applicable to your reservation (including the provider's terms and conditions) and ensure that they agree to those terms.
- You are responsible for paying any outstanding amounts and for all other matters related to your reservation, including when you request a change or cancellation.

You also agree to:

- Do not make false or fraudulent reservations.
- Do not use robots, spiders, scrapers, or any other automated means or manual processes to access, monitor, or copy any content on the MEDIGRACE Services.
- Violate any restrictions in the robot exclusion headers on the MEDIGRACE Services or bypass or circumvent any other measures used to prevent or limit access to our Services.
- Do anything that imposes, or may impose, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the MEDIGRACE infrastructure. We will take all necessary measures.

MEDIGRACE's Position
MEDIGRACE reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion, to refuse access to MEDIGRACE's services at any time for justifiable reasons. We may also improve and change our services at any time.

How MEDIGRACE Provides Services

Through MEDIGRACE, you can enjoy a variety of medical services, hotel reservations, and cultural experiences in Korea, along with various travel options. Through MEDIGRACE's online mall site, you can browse medical service providers and hotels and choose from a variety of experiences and trips in Korea. Once you request a service, you will be directed to the login page to use the service.

When you log in, you will be asked to provide certain personal information. You can provide this information within the site or through the site chat function. Upon receiving your personal information, we will initiate a communication between you and the medical service provider to process your request. During this process, MEDIGRACE may request medical images and medical records. We will follow the same procedures applicable to customers found through other channels, such as our website and platform.

During the process described above, you will provide personal information and data that will be stored on MEDIGRACE's servers. MEDIGRACE provides services. To facilitate your appointment, we must share your personal information and data with your healthcare provider. You consent to MEDIGRACE sharing your personal information to facilitate your appointment with your healthcare provider. For more information on how MEDIGRACE protects and stores your personal data, please see MEDIGRACE's Privacy Policy. The link to the Privacy Policy is provided in Section 9 below.

 

3. Reservation Confirmation

When you make an appointment with a healthcare provider (including treatment, surgery, examination, treatment, or consultation), we will send you a reservation confirmation (confirmation) received from the healthcare provider. We will also send you information and instructions regarding the procedure to be performed. All information will be sent via email from MEDIGRACE. We will also send you all options, hotel information, cultural experiences, tours, and other solutions via email from MEDIGRACE.

5. Reservation Changes and Cancellations

You cannot cancel or change your reservation unless permitted by the relevant healthcare provider and/or hotel's terms and conditions (provided prior to booking).

Medical providers and hotels, as well as various other providers, will provide you with additional information. Fees may apply for changes to options, cultural experiences, tours, and reservations. Fees are specified in the terms and conditions of the relevant medical service provider/hotel/cultural experience/option/travel service. You agree to pay all incurred costs. When changing a reservation, the new reservation and price will be determined based on the price in effect at the time of the change request. This price may differ from the original price of the medical service and/or hotel reservation.
You may cancel or change any part of your reservation, and such cancellation or change may result in additional charges from the relevant medical service provider and hotel/option/cultural experience/tour/all reservations.

 

6. Entry/Visa Requirements for Health and Medical Tourism in Korea

You are responsible for maintaining up-to-date vaccinations recommended by the country where you will receive medical services. You must:
- Meet all health entry requirements for the country.
- Obtain any relevant/required vaccinations required by the country.
- Take all recommended medications.
- Follow all medical advice related to your trip.

Passport and Visa

For passport and visa information, please contact the relevant embassy or consulate. Upon request, MEDIGRACE will assist you with the visa application process for entry into Korea. We are not responsible for any denial of boarding or entry into Korea due to your actions, including failure to possess accurate and appropriate travel documents required by airlines, authorities, or countries (including transit countries).

 

7. Liability

MEDIGRACE Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MEDIGRACE is not liable for:
- any medical services provided to you by a medical service provider in any way;
- any acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, or negligence of such medical service provider. Medical service providers provide information about medical services. This information may include details related to the provision of medical services, such as written descriptions, photographs, fees, and applicable service terms and conditions. Medical service providers are responsible for ensuring that this information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. They are not responsible for, and will not be liable for, any such inaccuracies.
MEDIGRACE does not guarantee the availability of any specific medical service.

Except as expressly provided in these Terms, to the fullest extent permitted by law,
- Any information or medical services displayed through our Services are provided without warranties or conditions of any kind, including, but not limited to, implied warranties and conditions of satisfactory quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. MEDIGRACE disclaims these warranties and conditions.

Displaying a healthcare provider through our Services does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by MEDIGRACE of that healthcare provider. MEDIGRACE cannot guarantee that our Services, our servers, or any emails sent from us are free of viruses or other harmful components, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Subject to the limitations of these Terms, MEDIGRACE will not be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from:
-Medical Services
-Use of MEDIGRACE Services
-Delays or inability to use MEDIGRACE
-Use of MEDIGRACE links, whether based on negligence, contract, tort, strict liability, consumer protection law, or any other cause, even if MEDIGRACE has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If Medigrace is held liable for any loss or damage under these Terms, 
Medigrace will be liable to you only for the following direct damages to the maximum extent permitted by law:

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Medigrace and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties, or other costs or expenses (including, but not limited to, reasonable legal and accounting fees) brought by any third party due to:
- Your violation of these Terms or the documents referenced herein;
- Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; or
- Your use of the Services;

Unless such losses are directly attributable to Medigrace.

Any disputes or claims arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.

Complaints

MediGrace prides itself on providing a high level of service and takes all complaints seriously. If you have a complaint, please provide details to kmedigrace@gmail.com.

Insurance

We recommend that you purchase insurance to cover certain cancellation cases and the consequences of certain travel risks. It is your responsibility to ensure that your insurance policy adequately covers your needs.

Call Failure

If Medigrace fails to enforce or delays enforcing any provision of these Terms, Medigrace will not waive its right to enforce the same provision or provisions of these Terms in the future.

Unenforceable Provisions

If any provision (or part of a provision) of these Terms is held by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision (or part of it) will be deemed not to be part of these Terms. In such a case, the validity and enforceability of the other provisions will not be affected.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Medigrace regarding the Medigrace Services. These Terms supersede all other communications (whether electronic, oral, or written) between us regarding the Medigrace Services.

Assignments

We may assign, subcontract, or delegate any of our rights, duties, or responsibilities under these Terms, but you may not.

Third Party Rights

Except as expressly provided in these Terms, we do not intend for any person who is not a party to these Terms to enforce any part of these Terms.
No third-party consent is required to waive, modify, or terminate any part of these Terms. These Terms do not create any rights under any applicable law or regulation that would give any third party the right to enforce any part of these Terms.

Obligations and Survival

If any provision of these Terms expressly or by its nature imposes obligations beyond the expiration or termination of these Terms, that provision will survive such expiration or termination.
