Mammography, breast ultrasound, and conscious sedation endoscopy (recommended after 48 hours of breastfeeding) are restricted.
Mammography and breast ultrasound can be performed after 6 months of breastfeeding.
What is the difference between conscious sedation endoscopy and standard endoscopy?
The endoscopy procedure is the same for standard and conscious sedation endoscopy. Conscious sedation endoscopy (conscious sedation endoscopy) primarily uses propofol or midazolam to achieve a sedated state before the procedure. This reduces patient discomfort and effectively erases painful memories. However, the examination is not performed under anesthesia; it is performed under sedation, allowing for a certain level of patient cooperation.

The ideal time for a gynecological examination is at least three days after the end of menstruation.
Please refrain from sexual intercourse and the use of vaginal douches, vaginal suppositories, or creams for 48-72 hours before the examination.

What is the difference between MRI and MRA?
MRI is a test that utilizes the interaction of magnetic fields and high-frequency waves to obtain anatomical and pathological information about the human body. Brain MRI is designed to identify structural and functional abnormalities in the brain, such as dementia and brain tumors. Brain MRA is a test that specifically images blood vessels to identify cerebral vascular abnormalities, such as aneurysms, vascular malformations, and vascular morphology.
Can a blood test detect cancer?
Tumor markers are specific markers that can abnormally increase in the blood when cancer develops. While they are used as important indicators for cancer detection, their accuracy is still limited.
Even if certain cancers are present, tumor markers may not produce sufficient levels, resulting in negative results. Therefore, tumor markers cannot detect all cancers.
Tumor markers can also be elevated in benign conditions, and non-pathological increases can also occur.
Therefore, tumor markers alone cannot accurately diagnose a specific disease, so it is essential to consult a doctor for an opinion.
AFP: Helps diagnose primary liver cancer. CEA: Helps diagnose digestive system cancers such as colon, pancreatic, and stomach cancer. CA19-9: Helps diagnose pancreatic, gallbladder, and bile duct cancers, and other tumors. CA125: Indicates ovarian and endometrial cancer. PSA: Indicates prostate cancer.

I had a hysterectomy. Do I need to undergo a Pap test?
Yes, even if you had a hysterectomy, you may need a Pap test once, depending on the reason for the surgery.

Except for blood tests, all tests are possible, but it's best to discuss your medical history with your doctor or nurse before making your decision.
When can I eat after an upper or lower gastrointestinal endoscopy?
Due to throat anesthesia, eating or drinking immediately after the procedure may cause choking. Although it varies from person to person, most people will experience around 30 minutes of throat anesthesia wear off. After 30 minutes, once the numbness has subsided, you can take a sip of water and eat a light meal when you feel better. Since your throat will be irritated immediately after the endoscopy, it's best to have porridge for your first meal. You should also refrain from alcohol, smoking, and hot foods for the day. If you've also had a colonoscopy, avoid fatty or spicy foods, as they can cause diarrhea.
